The Formula I'm Using to Grow $1 Million Agencies

Back in 2020, I started my first agency, Draft.dev, and it grew...really quickly.

I didn't realize it back then, but I had stumbled on a formula that worked to grow an agency, and when mixed with the right market demand, it can work really fast. We scaled to $1 million in revenue in less than a year!

I bought a second company in 2023, and we're using the same path to take it over that hump.

It's really fun because in addition to making more money, we're able to employ more people, help more clients, and build a more sustainable business just by being intentional.

Read the process on Linkedin, and feel free to chime in if you've got questions or feedback.

How Aidan Sowa Sends Hundreds of Thousdands of Emails per Month

I found it fascinating, but it also gave me appreciation for people who scale up their cold email efforts.

When I started Draft in 2020, my goal was simple: build a business that allowed me to take a month off at a time.

Fast forward to 2022, and I took my first month-long break thanks to a solid team, well-defined target market, and simple service offering.

But achieving this goal didn't make me want to take more time off. Instead, it sparked a desire to think even bigger.

Rather than selling my business and taking a break, I decided to set a decade-long vision...

If you're going to bootstrap a business, the key is going super niche

You can't differentiate on budget, team, or marketing because you don't have the money for that.

But, you can be a better solution for someone very specific.

I talked with Christopher Richards about this for the Savant Podcast. Check out the full episode on Spotify: https://lnkd.in/gMfrUYgA
